Toy Zone – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions explain the agreement between the customer and us (Toy Zone) when an order is placed through our website.
By using our website or completing a purchase, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Our Commitment to Fairness

We comply with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We also go beyond the legal requirement by offering 7 days from the date the customer receives the order to change their mind and return the item, provided it is unused, in its original packaging, and in
re-saleable condition.

2. Forming a Contract

When the customer places an order:

  • We will send an email acknowledging receipt of the order.

  • The contract between the customer and us is formed once the goods are dispatched.

  • Payment is taken at the time the order is placed.

  • The customer may cancel the contract within 7 days of receiving the goods (see Section 6).

3. Prices

3.1 All prices listed on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. In the event of an error:

  • If the correct price is lower, the customer will be refunded the difference.

  • If the correct price is higher, the customer will be contacted and given the choice to proceed or cancel the order.

3.2 Delivery charges (if applicable) are displayed at checkout.
3.3 All prices include VAT at the current UK rate.
3.4 Prices and availability may change without notice.

4. Payment

4.1 We accept the payment methods shown on our website. The customer must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.
4.2 Payment is taken when the order is placed.
4.3 All transactions are processed securely.

5. Order Acknowledgement and Acceptance

5.1 After placing an order, the customer will receive an email acknowledging the order – this does not mean acceptance.
5.2 The order is accepted and the contract confirmed once the goods are dispatched.
5.3 If we are unable to fulfil the order due to stock issues, payment problems, or a pricing error, we will cancel the order and notify the customer.

6. Cancelling an Order

6.1 The customer has the right to cancel the order within 7 days of receiving the goods.
6.2 No reason is required for cancellation, and no penalty will be charged.
6.3 To cancel, the customer must contact us by email, phone, or in writing.
6.4 Goods must be returned at the customer’s cost and in their original condition and packaging.
6.5 Once we receive the returned goods, we will issue a refund as soon as possible.
6.6 If the goods are not returned or return postage is not paid, we may deduct the cost of recovery from the refund.

This cancellation right applies only to individual consumers, not business or bulk buyers.

7. Cancellation by Us

We may cancel an order if:

  • There is insufficient stock,

  • Payment cannot be processed,

  • A pricing or product description error occurs, or

  • Delivery is not available to the customer’s address.

If we cancel an order, we will notify the customer and issue a full refund within 30 days.

8. Delivery

8.1 We deliver to the address provided by the customer at checkout.
8.2 Delivery times are estimated but we aim to dispatch promptly.
8.3 Once goods are delivered, ownership and responsibility transfer to the customer.
8.4 International orders may incur import duties or taxes, which are payable by the customer.
8.5 The customer must notify us within 5 working days of the expected delivery date if the order has not arrived.

9. Damaged or Faulty Goods

9.1 If a parcel appears damaged, the customer should not sign for it and should contact us immediately.
9.2 If an item is faulty after delivery, the customer should contact us within a reasonable time. We may test or inspect the product before deciding on a replacement or refund.

10. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to us.
The customer may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
No material may be copied, distributed, modified, or reproduced without written permission.

11. Trademarks

All trademarks and logos displayed on our site are the property of Toy Zone or their respective owners and may not be used without permission.

12. Data Protection

We value privacy and handle all personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.

13. Consumer Rights

These Terms and Conditions, together with our website pricing, delivery details, and privacy policy, form the entire agreement between the customer and us.
Any updates or changes will be published on our website and take effect immediately.

16. Reseller Orders

If the customer is identified as a reseller, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Discount codes cannot be applied to reseller orders, and unwanted reseller purchases cannot be returned.
